    Notes:

    "Heartstrings" is Xuefei Yang's personal collection of songs. The musical styles span across different eras, ranging from classical to folk, from church music to Piazzolla, and from Spanish music to Chinese music. Every song on the album is chosen from Xuefei Yang's most beloved pieces.

She said, "These songs are ones that I really love. They resonate with my heartstrings, and I hope they can also touch the hearts of others. That's precisely where the name of this album comes from."

The process of recording this album was also a delightful musical journey. Yang Xuekao, in order to achieve outstanding tones that complemented each piece, used different instruments according to the different songs. In total, four different instruments were used for the recording.

Moreover, this album boasts exceptional recording and production. Yang Xuekao took on the role of producer for the first time and invited Arne Akselberg, a multiple Grammy Award-winning recording engineer from Abby Road Studios, to handle the recording. This collaboration marks their fourth project together, showcasing their excellent synergy. The recording of this album took place at Potton Hall, a recording venue frequently chosen by classical musicians and classical labels in the United Kingdom.
